Double Plank (Bourbon Maple Syrup Barrel) - Imperial Brown Ale - 10% ABV - 64 IBU

Last year we sourced some oak barrels that had first stored Bourbon, then aged maple syrup.  For its third life cycle, we filled one with this Imperial Brown Ale, a beefed up version of our standard Brown Ale, The Plank.  We let it mellow and absorb the wood, char and syrup character from the barrel for nearly a year, and now we’re ready to introduce it to your glass.  The rich, nutty, toffee and chocolate flavors of the base beer pair perfectly with the barrel and maple notes. Now you can drink your favorite breakfast!
